I nearly forgot how to upload comics. I got it though. Don’t worry.

The final page of the final project. I have to say that this page contains my favourite face of the entire story.
I’m not too happy with the ending. The story just kind of drops off but everyone keeps telling me it’s fine and reminding me that I will always be my own worst critic. I did leave it open in case I decide I want to continue this story. I did, after all, grow a bit attached to the characters.

I’m not sure what exactly it is that makes this page my favourite, but.. well.. it’s my favourite of the set.

Another thing I like to think I learned is that it’s nearly impossible to dilute india ink for an ink wash and have good results. All the same I think this page turned out alright.

This project was definitely a learning experience. For instance, I learned I can’t write.

This is the first page of a 6 page story I wrote and drew for my graphic storytelling class last semester in school. I got an A on the project as well as some really helpful feedback. I also learned how to draw comics on bristol with brushes and nibs which I may try if I can get access to a flat bed scanner. Doesn’t do me much good to draw the comics if I can’t get a decent scan from them…

This comic was almost finished last month but I forgot to shade it and then I went to Digital Overload and didn’t have it done before May was over. SO CLOSE.

Know what? I’m not even going to apologize this time.

Oh who am I kidding, of course I am. Sorry guys. I’ll try to update twice this month at least. Try… no promises.

This drawing may be some sort of omen of more to come. Or it might just be two of my new friend from work, Grant (left) and Cameron (right)

Here’s what happened. I procrastinated. I panicked. I shut down when panic happens. Which causes more panic. Damn you procrastination!
